The conditions looked evil but it turned into a great day. The wooly guys definitely had the home advantage but we put up a fight. Watch out for the next one.

Stu booked the sunsine and surf for another great weekend at Churchtown campsite. There was coctails, easter eggs and an impromptu yoga session. Click here to read all about it.

Great turnout. Great deal on accomodation from Belishis. Some sunshine and decent surf. Two days of free surf coaching from Andy at the BSA. A master class on board design from Andy Reed at Tunnel Vision. Beer. Curry. It was a classic.

It's a fun setup at WM Ski but be prepared for some serious pain the next day! A few people were riding surfboards - a different way to get a feel for weight distribution and board handling on a flat day.

| France Trip - September 2007 | ||
A gang of 10 BSC members spent 2 weeks on the west coast of France starting in Brittany and then heading down to the Lacanau region. The swell wasn't always with us but we had our share of classic days from 2 to 6 foot and the weather was perfect for the whole trip. People are already making plans for this year so check out the events page if you're interested.

| Shaping sessions. Summer 2007. | ||
Over a few weekends in the summer we shaped 5 boards from scratch. The designs ranged from a classic fish to a couple of 9'6 mals. It was hard work but the end result is always satisfying. I took photos over a couple of days
but Patsy and Martin took LOADS!

It was windy and sometimes wet (we spent more time in the cafe than the sea) but we didn't come last and the party on Saturday night was a belter.
