BSC Newsletter. 6th May 09
Hi all. Just a quick round-up this week.

Sounds like last weekend's swell was a winner. Lots of reports of challenging waves. It doesn't look like the coming weekend will be quite as epic but there is a prospect of some waves, especially on Saturday. The wind could spoil the party but with some luck the spots with a bit of shelter should get something.

This weekend
As reported last week there's lots of other stuff happening this weekend. There's a British Longboard Union event running at Saunton all weekend with the crème of UK longboarding talent competing. Well worth a look if you're heading to the coast. Then on Sunday the Cube Cinema is holding a special showing of "The Present" by Thomas Campbell. There are two screenings, one at 7:20pm and one at 9pm. It's £5 on the door. See the surfscreen website for more details.

This weeks meeting
There's a committee session before this weeks meeting at the Pumphouse starting at 7:30 but it's back to regular drinkies from 8ish. Andy Sturt's in town and he's expecting to join us at some stage. He's got a flimsy excuse about forgetting his presentation notes so he's not running a formal session on training techniques but he will be on hand to answer any questions so make sure you tap him up on the night.

See you there.
