| Hi all,
Just a quick reminder that it's the barbecue this Thursday. As Sim said on the forum, it's unlikely that we'll cancel but keep an eye on the forum for a final call on the day. (There are a couple of pubs nearby so we can bail if things get damp.)
Pete will be running a raffle on the night with proceeds going to Surfers Against Sewage. The prize list includes rash vests from West Wetsuits and a big stack of T-shirts from Flo, Howies and Loose Fit plus some other bits and bobs from Sharkbite. We're also throwing in a couple of annual club memberships so it's definitely worth picking up some tickets.
Speaking of memberships... the fees for the 2009/2010 season are now due so Stu is collecting. If you've joined after April then you're good till next year but the rest of us need to re-join via the paypal link on the membership page or bring a tenner to the barbecue.
So: bring your cash & bring your beers. The grills are firing up about 7pm at the top of Victoria Park. See you there.
