| Greetings my fellow land-locked gliders of the spume. A few quick notices this week. Firstly a repeat of Pete's message from last Thursday. It looks like Sim is still waiting for 3 people to pay their £15 balance for the Newquay trip. For reasons that are lost to the murky depths of Sunday morning we don't have a list of who has paid so we're relying on everyone who hasn't to settle up ASAP. Sim paid the bill out of his own pocket so he's down by £45 quid at the moment. Ouch. Andy Dibble is organising a day trip to one of the North Devon beaches this weekend. Check the forum for final arrangements on this one. The forecast is looking better for Sunday right now but anything could happen in the next couple of days. And on a related note, Micky Corker from Surfers Against Sewage has been in touch to say they are running a beach clean on Sunday at Saunton and they are seeking volunteers. Sounds like a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. (Sorry. Bad choice of metaphor. Couldn't help myself. Obviously you shouldn't actually "kill two birds". I think it's illegal and it would certainly defeat the whole point of the exercise. Anyway. Moving on.) Finally, there's been a flurry of nice looking boards appearing on the second hand forum over the last few days. Dave (aka Bob Gnarly) is flogging an immaculate looking longboard, Clive is selling his expoxy fish and Jono has an interesting webber hybrid fish thingy for a very reasonable price. Get em while they're hot.
Thursday night drinks as usual at the Pumphouse tomorrow. See you there.
