| BSC Newsletter. January 3rd 2010 | |
| Happy new year folks.
Just a quick reminder that the next BSC meeting (I think that's "week one" in Wilkins-speak) is this Thursday at the Pumphouse. Time to show-off your surf related Christmas pressies. (I followed Sim's advice and asked for a copy of "Surfing - The Manual" myself.) The main event kicks off about 8pm.
Next up, Andy Dibble is planning another club day-trip to North Devon for next Saturday the 9th. The forecast is looking good right now (if a bit chilly) so there'll be an announcement about final plans this Thursday.
Then on Thursday the 21st it's the AGM. As well as the nominations for the committee (which are the same as last year - shame on you all) we have a couple of changes to the constitution to vote on. I've posted the details on the forum so check this link and make sure we're not about to run off the Maldives with the club funds.
Speaking of which, the other main agenda item is the spending plan for 2010. We've got an open committee session this Thursday at 7:30 to discuss the plan so feel free so come along and have your say. We'll publish the proposals on the forum after the meeting and vote to approve them at the AGM on the 21st.
