Hey gorgeous surfers.

After a successful third year in a row, I have decided to return to one of our all time favourite spots, Baleal before taking the trip to Madeira in 2020.

Although this time in Baleal I would like to offer you a twist to your trip!

We start the trip off with 6 nights in Baleal Friday 11th October.

Location

Baleal in Peniche, home to arguably the most reliable surf in Portugal and the Rip Curl Pro every October!!

Accommodation

We return to Alex's Surf Hostel and we have the house booked for private hire exclusively to the club.http://www.alexsurfschool.com/ as well as the adjacent house, Baia.

The self catering properties hold 15/20 people each with a mixture of double and single beds. Surf hire shop adjacent to the building, huge car park across the road it makes an easy and relaxing stay for everyone. There's handful of bars and restaurants to choose from literally a stones throw from the accommodation.

Almagreira 1 Double 1 Bunk bed en-suite: £90/pp

Baia room 5 bed Dorm with terrace en-suite: £108/pp

Baia House: With Terrace

Baia Terrace Room: 2 x Double beds en-suite and private terrace, £360/180pp.

Room1: Double bed en-suite. £330/£165pp

Room 2: 2 x Double beds with shared bathroom. £166/£83pp

Room 3: 1 Double bed and one bunk bed with shared bathroom £83pp

Lagide: Double room en-suite £240/ £120pp

Cantinho: 4 Bed dorm en-suite £90pp

*Breakfast not included but short walk to the supermarket and bakery.

The house will be booked for those who pay on a first-come-basis. You would need to be able to stay the duration of the week to be able to stay at the private house & hostel.

We then check-out Friday 18th October (by no later than 11am) and for those that rather not jet off just yet, we head to Lisbon for a 2 night city break to soak in the highlights, history and culture before flying back to Bristol Sunday 20th Oct

We will be staying at Living Lounge.

Extras

Surf board rentals £60 / 6 days. ALEX HAS BOUGHT A RANGE OF NEW BOARDS.

Surf lesson with equipment 25 euros for 2 hr lesson (minimum 4 persons and pre-booked)

Wine Tour – Inc transport selection of wine tasting 4 hours pay on the day 12 euros/pp

Evening Boat Tour – Private sunset hire with BYO (weather conditions permitted) price tbc closer to the time.

Flights from Bristol are currently £100 return. I advised your flights are booked as soon as you can as flights will only rise in price. To secure your spot in one of the two houses, I require a deposit of £70.00 and the balance will be due no later than 31st August. I will PM my bank details for those that are coming.

With regards to getting to the property I suggest renting cars with some friends to keep the costs down. It's only 1.5 hr from the airport and can work about £30 pp for the week. Plus you will want the car to go and explore Super Tubos and Nazre which I highly recommend for those that haven’t been and check the museum out!
