Christmas Boat Party

Well, I am not going to lie… the committee and I didn’t expect to be arranging this event at all this year. We have dodged another lockdown and can offer you the best Bristol social event of the year, in fact the last B.S.C event of the year…

May we invite you all to the one and only BSC Christmas Party!

This year we will be having a boat party on the famous Grain Barge in the scenic Bristol Harbour. We will have a whole floor to ourselves, so whether you want to prop up our private bar or dance the night away with our personal DJ’s, we will cater for all your needs to have one heck of a party!

Ticket prices will include a welcome drink of Prosecco on arrival; then a delicious two-course Christmas meal (served as a buffet) and finally our very own DJ’s to help us dance the night away. I have it on good authority that they do excellent vegetarian, vegan and fish options for this seasonal event.

We have decided to do our traditional yearly raffle online this year to give everyone in the club a chance to buy tickets and win. All the proceeds raised will be going to the club’s chosen charities … The Wave Project and Surfers Against Sewage. I have posted more on this subject on our Facebook Page. Tickets will be for sale online via our BSC Website, so login and buy to be in for a prize. 

So just a mention that we have limited tickets for this event due to the size of the venue, so please do get your tickets as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

On another note… we will be asking you all to provide a negative lateral flow test before coming to this event (in line with the Governmental Guidelines). We want you all to be safe and comfortable at the venue, plus nobody wants to be isolating before seeing loved ones around Xmas time. Let’s all take responsibility for a safe event. Looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting all the new members. It’s going to be strange to see you all without salty hair and out of a wetsuit. There is no dress code here… unless you want one!
