Surf & Camp weekend - Retorrick Mill

Hi All,

So this is a big one! The BSC Retorrick Mill weekend is at a very special occasion,  located close to a number of amazing surf beaches near the lovely Mawgan Porth... the weekend will be made even more special with our very own band 'Mind the Gap,' and resident DJ Charlie B playing on the Saturday night for a good ole knees up..

Tickets for 2 nights camping will be a flat rate of £26 (including £1 bank transfer fee) per person. Tickets will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and are non-refundable. If you need to resell your ticket for any reason, please speak to other members about buying it on WhatsApp chat/Facebook page.

Site Information:

• There are other accommodation options onsite (2 bed or 3 bed Caravans available and a Cabin that can sleep 7) but please contact the site directly to enquire; info@retorrickmill.co.uk
• The site will have food options for evening meals (normally pizzas and curry but we'll confirm) and a well stocked bar.
• BSC members and ticket holders only please. 
• Toilets and shower blocks are available, dishwashing facilities also onsite.
• Due to the natural surroundings of the site they can only permit barbecues (on stands) and campfires in their designated area. There is a big fire next to the bar with seating most nights.
• NO noise after 11pm on the campsites. Please respect the Dawnie Surfers and the campsite owners and team that live nearby. 
• The private bar will have it’s own rules which need to be respected.
• Surf School and hire available nearby… the committee will be in touch with options.

N.B. Anyone breaking the site rules will be asked to leave and could get banned from future events.

Check out is usually 11am but I will confirm that for Sunday morning.

There is no shop onsite, electric hook up points or disabled facilities.

There are a lot of beaches to surf from here in both directions so dependent on the wind and swell direction.

We are a friendly bunch so just ask if you need help or any other information onsite.

It is good to make contact with other members before you leave, so use the WhatsApp group for lift shares and to meet people who are at the same standard of surfing.

All extra activities are taken at your own risk and you will not be covered by the BSC insurance.

PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE at the campsite and beach.

Remember to be kind and inclusive to all members. We welcome all genders and cultures, in fact I don’t know a better bunch of lovely people, so if you are struggling in any way then don’t be afraid to come and chat to one of the Committee members.
